Note that if you are on firmware 3.0, iMobileCinema is a bit buggy than on firmware 2.x.x but it still works.

Update 2: Comex's Flash player, name Frash, is now available to download, check out the guide here.

Update: Comex is developing a real Flash Player to play flash games and videos on your iPhone or iPad, check out more info by clicking here.

iMobileCinema has brought a whole new meaning to mobile flash player. Unlike iTransmogrify and LiveBuster, it doesn't have a time limit or have to be in your bookmarks. iMobileCinema is a plug-in, it works from inside your iPod not a some other server.

Since Adobe has said that the real Flash Player is coming some where late 2009, most likely after the 3.0 update. This is the closest thing you can get to flash on your iPod touch or iPhone for now.

Update: It looks like talks between Apple and Adobe have broken down, it may be awhile until we get an official Flash Player.

I have confirmed it plays videos from Veoh, MySpace Video, Megavideo, YouTube, Google Video and many other video portals. To see the full list of what video sites iMobileCinema supports, go here.

Although it is still in beta, it still works great. Here are some simple and easy instructions to get iMobileCinema on your jailbroken iPod touch or iPhone. Even if you aren't jailbroken, there are some really good sites out there that can stream .mp4 videos directly onto your iPod. You can check out our list for some great streaming sites here.

Download and Installation:

1. Open Cydia and go to the Manage tab.

2. At the top, push Edit, then Add.

3. Type in http://d.imobilecinema.com. (If you get an error here or anywhere in the next steps, type in http://cyida.xsellize.com instead.)

4. Tap Add Source. If you get an error, that means your typed it in wrong.

5. Go to the Search tab. Type in iMobileCinema and tap on it.

6. Tap Install, or download, and then Confirm.

Now you are ready to go. Just find a video from one of the portals listed above and you will see the symbol below.

Just tap on the triangle and your video should start playing. If it doesn't work, try taping in the top left corner of the movie box.

Your video should start playing after it buffers.

I can’t do it at this present time. I heard that there is a rumor that when Apple releases its SDK it will give the ipod touch a flash player. Is it true?
