What Will 3.0 Bring?

Apple announced this Tuesday, March 17 of 2009, that a preview of iPhone firmware 3.0 will come out. This (fairly) unexpected announcement comes days after iPod touch 2nd Gen untethered jailbreak is released.


There is lots of speculation on what the new firmware might contain. Nothing is certain for now but here are some possibilities for firmware 3.0.

• MMS

• Copy and Paste

• Real Adobe Flash Player (please, please, please)

• WiFi Sync

• Faster boot up times

• Update for YouTube app to allow comments and full view of description.

• A loosened grip on application developers

• Some way to try and stop the jailbreak. Although it won't work.
