Touch Grind from Illusion Labs is a great skater game. It is just like having a virtual Tech Deck. The controls are hard to master but once you get the hang of it, you can get really good with the tricks.
A great feature about this application is that it comes with many different tutorials. Each demonstrating a new trick. You can perform anything from ollies to rail slides. The controls are very realistic to what you would do in real life.



[How To] Perform the Tricks

• Ollie

With both fingers on the board and the board moving, release the finger in the middle of the board and then immediately after take the finger on the back of the board off.

• Rail slide

Using an ollie, or another trick, get your board on top of the rail. The board will automatically start to grind. Then using your fingers, keep your balance on the rail.

• Flips

While moving on the skateboard, slide your front finger off the board and then quickly release your finger from the back of the board.



The graphics are very good. You can see everything from shadows down to the last paint drop. Best of all, there is no lag to be found! You play it just like you would play with a Tech Deck. If you put your fingers on one side of the skate board, it will go the other way and vice versa. You can even customize your board with your own images to make it fit your own style.

Each time you skate you go into a skate park. To zoom out and see the entire skate park you can push the magnifying glass in the bottom right corner. This will allow you to see all the raps, boundaries, and rails.



Overall this is a really nice game with awesome graphics. Everything is very realistic and fun to play with. I recommend this game to anyone who is looking for a really professional skater game.
