At WWDC 2010, Apple announced that the popular Mac-based video editing software, iMovie would be coming to the iPhone 4. Apple announced that the app would be sold separately on the App Store for $4.99 and would feature editing capabilities superior to the trimming abilities found on the iPhone 3GS.

Now, new information has emerged about iMovie: iPhone 3GS will not support the iMovie app as it does not have a processor with the ability to handle the movie rendering. Also, movies fully rendered on the iPhone 4 will be imported into iTunes but unfinished editing sequences will not be able to be transfered on to a Mac to be fully edited.
