Installing apps using Installous can be a real pain because they don't receive updates - until now. Using Updatr, you can easily check which of your apps are fully updated and which ones need to be updated. Once you find the apps you need to update, they can be easily updated using Apptrackr.
How to Install
- Open Cydia, tap on Manage then on Sources.
- Tap on Edit, then Add
- Type in 'http://cydia.xsellize.com' and tap on Add Source
- Once it's done, go to the search tab and type in Updatr.
- Install Updatr and go to your home screen
- Open Updatr, let it refresh your list. (This may take awhile)
- Now you will be able to see your entire list of apps that need to be updated.
- To update, select each app individually and tap on View on Apptrackr.
- Then select the latest version of the app, download, and then install.

is there any way to be able to download all the updates at once? I have 16 updates right now and I don't feel like clicking each one individually. LOL

cant reset installous icon says 6 used updatr and done nothing to icon on installous might get rid of it all fucked of with it any one help
Do I need to remove the old version before I install the new one? I've updated this way, but for some reason, when I run the game, the version number doesn't change. Meaning it's not updating... touchgrind 1.2.1 when the update says 1.2.3
thanks for the tip I've just installed it looks very good - has been such a pain updating stuff individually.
It's pretty boring updating one by one.. takes a lot of time just clicking around... Why can't we update with iTunes, like other apple applications?
Can this be used with the latest version of iPad?
Also, why is it not possible to update all the applications at once? I mean, they did it with iTunes, why can't they implement the same on this one?

There are minor changes to installous on iphone 3.0. Follow the steps below as usual to get the installous up and running from cydia. You need a jailbreaked iphone and cydia of course. If you do not know what are they well google is your friend.
1. Open Cydia, tap on "Manage" at the bottom
2. Tap on "Sources"
3. Tap on "Edit" on top right then tap on "Add" on top left
4. Type in http://cydia.hackulo.us Cydia will warn you about copyright information just tap ok

Thanks for the info, It's really great at least I can install update from a ready listing rather than manually searching those app in installous.
and I guess some ppl r really creative, update with iTune? ya you can purchase the app in Apple store that way you can update them without the pain in the ass. Please don't forget that iTune is using your user ID to track what app you've purchases and thus let you download update. Since app you install without purchasing, ofcoz iTune won't let you free download update only. Common sense please~! I'm not even an Uni graduate or IT major.

sir i have query on updating apps through installous which is that i have installed "asphalt 6" game in my iphone 3gs through "installous" now installous is prompting for an minor update for this game so when try to update this game though installous it telling me to download whole new ipa package which is of almost 600 mb but why i should download whole new file for just small update . It is not there any different way to just download only require part of that update not just whole file ? please offer me a solution sir.........
