A new application has begun taking its throne to power as one of the best customization tools ever for iPod Touch; they call it Winterboard. Winterboard is the most powerful customization to date. Allowing you to change everything from the highlight color of your keyboard to your background. Here is the full guide on how to setup Winterboard and get some themes from Cydia running.
To setup Winterboard to theme your iPod follow the picture tutorial below.
1. Go to Cydia. Tap on search at the bottom.
2. Type in Winterboard. Tap on Winterboard. Tap install and then confirm in the top right corner.
3. Restart your iPod.
4. Go to Cydia. Tap Sections at the bottom.
5. Scroll down until you see Themes(Springboard). My picture is a little messed up because I had to take it fast.
6. Find a theme you like. You can get an idea of what it will look like by taping the name of it, then tapping more info or screen shot or scrennie.
7. Once you've found one (I found KillSignCarbonBlue). Wait for the spinner in the top right corner to stop spinning and then tap Install.
8. Push the home button (the round button found at the bottom of your device).
9. Go to Winterboard.
10. Un-check any items that may be checked by taping on them once.
11. Now check the theme that you just installed from Cydia. I will check KillSignCarbonBlue.
12. Push the home button
13. Wait for your device to reload, and you are done!
Your device should now be themed!

hey.. If i were to select multiple items in winterboard, other than the theme I am using (hypnotiq), then what happens? I do not see a difference. I'm a noob.. But for instance, I selected hypnotic, dim wallpaper, blueplasma.video, and black navigation bars.
Hey Chase
Selecting multiple themes in Winterboard is like using layers in Photoshop. The top most theme gets all of its elements shown (icons, background, lock screen). The second theme in the list will apply all things that it has but the first one does (text, UIimages, and lock slider). This works with all your checked themes.
So for example, if your hypnotic theme has wallpaper and icons and your second one, black navigation bars, has all the black bars. The theme will apply the wallpaper, icons, and black bars. But if you had two themes with icons and wallpaper, the higher one placed on the list would be the one applied.
It's really confusing. But once you've got it, it becomes natural.
If you need me to explain some more, just comment!

@Anonymous: When you selected your theme, did you install it? Then did you give it a check mark in Winterboard and bring it all the way to the top?
